1. Data Collection and Transmission

WID is a privacy-first extension. We do not run any external databases or third-party servers to collect, store, or monitor your personal data.

• User Notes & Content: Any text input or content manually dumped by the user into WID is temporarily processed locally and sent directly to the official Google Gemini API (for natural language processing) and Google Calendar/Tasks APIs (for synchronization).
• Authentication & Credentials: Your personal Gemini API key and Google OAuth2 authentication tokens are stored securely and strictly inside your own browser's local storage (chrome.storage.local). This data never leaves your device except to communicate directly with official Google API endpoints.

2. Third-Party Services

WID utilizes official Google API services (Gemini API, Google Calendar API, Google Tasks API). The handling of data transmitted to these services is governed strictly by the Google Privacy Policy. We do not share, sell, or disclose your inputs to any other third parties.

3. Data Security

Because all data is retained locally on your machine or processed through official, encrypted Google HTTPS endpoints, your data is as secure as your personal Google account and local device setup.
